Jayme is honored to serve the people of House District 38. She is currently serving on the Judiciary Committee, Revenue Committee, Select Gaming and Management Audit Committee.
In her role on the Judiciary Committee, she is dedicated to ensuring that the courts remain open, accessible and work for the people in accordance with the state constitution. Also on this committee Jayme is committed to protecting the children of the state from physical and digital harms.
As a member of the Revenue Committee, Jayme is focused on reducing tax burdens to the people. Making government have fiscal transparency and reforming state spending to benefit the community. In 2025, The WY Legislature was successful at reducing property taxes, reducing the Business Property Taxes with a first $75,000 exemption, and implementing a depreciation scale for personal property taxes.
Legislation Success
Representative Jayme Lien served as the primary sponsor in 2026, for HB0102, which aims to protect individuals from AI deep fakes and exploitative images, criminalizes sextoration, AI self harm, and protects AI generated Political Speech. This bill received bipartisan support, passed unanimously, and was signed by the Governor in March 2026.
In 2025, she was the primary sponsor of HB0032, titled "What is a Woman," which codifies the definitions of male and female. This bill became law on March 14, 2025, without the Governor's signature.
